Cisco CCNA Training
CCNA training is an important step in getting the Cisco certification that will set you apart from other applicants in a variety of networking jobs. While you could simply rely on experience and knowledge in the past to get your foot in the door with many employers, it’s increasingly difficult to land jobs in the networking field if you don’t have the necessary Cisco certifications.
Cisco CCNA training is conducted by third-party partners and schools, and typically culminates in students successfully passing the required exams and labs for your CCNA certification. Instructions consists of classroom hours, practice labs, and other hands on lessons, all designed to give students a thorough understanding of all of the issues that a CCNA is expected to tackle on a daily basis. CCNA boot camps are also available, which allow you to get your certification in a very short period of time.
CCNA training classes aren’t cheap but in most cases they quickly pay for themselves, as far as directly translating into substantial raises at your current job or opening up additional doors at potential new, higher-paying jobs. In many cases, advanced Cisco certifications require that you have completed the CCNA training as a prerequisite, so getting your CCNA certification is more and more a necessity and not simply a luxury, as it was in the past.
As with any course or class, all programs are not created equal, so be sure to shop around, explore all of your options, and be sure to ask for recommendations of good training programs from anyone you know that has already completed the CCNA certification process.
