Cisco Certifications Importance and Guidelines

Cisco is a Corporation that provides an impressively vast array of certifications for those who are practically and technically minded or for those who wish to specialise in hardware and networking. When going for a Cisco Certificate you should know that there are basically three levels of certification, ranging from Associate to Professional to Expert.
The Cisco Certificate is one of the most appreciated and acknowledged degrees today, by all major companies and corporate groups, and is seriously taken under consideration when applying for a job, sometimes even more than a regular college degree, due to its credibility and standards. You can see many professionals who already have a college degree, aiming at getting the Expert certification in one of the areas of expertise, or branching with other Associates in many of the general supporting topic areas.

These get significantly more diverse, with subjects covering Advanced Routing and Switching, with field specialists (people who trouble shoot problems), sales specialists (people who are good at defining what range of Cisco products a customer needs and getting them in place) and solutions specialists (who design full architected systems for customers).
The most common and useful Specialist certifications are the ones that deal with data and network centres; Support, Design and Sales, Application Services, Network Switching interfaces, and Network Storage Certifications.
If you are interested in Specialist certifications so as to cover IP (Internet Protocol) Communications Certifications then there are the Telephony Network Design services, Contact Centre certifications, generalised IP communications certifications and much more that teach you the basics for setting up large venue networking solutions. One of the most demanded certificates are the VPN and Security specialisations, covering almost everything from firewalls to generalised security.
